The Qur’an commands us to fight against our oppressors, particularly those who prevent us form practicing Islam. It commands us: “And kill them wherever you encounter them and expel them from where they expelled you. Oppression is indeed worse than murder.“
Examples of Afghani women barred from practicing Islam because their rights as Muslim women have been curbed:
-Not being allowed to seek an education (all Muslim are encouraged in the Quran to seek knowledge) -Forced marriage (a Muslim woman must consent to marriage) and forced child marriage -Inability to divorce (a Muslim woman must be allowed to divorce freely for any reason) -Inability to work (in Islam Muslim men are not allowed to prevent Muslim women from working)
Therefore enough rights have been violated that a holy war / jihad is justified.

I wonder what such an action/movement would look like if it played out. As a woman, I’d wholly support it however I could.
